Parents & Caregiver Workshop
This course is developed with carers of children in mind. Content is specific to first aid needs of children with many tips and hints our trainers have learnt through their years of emergency nursing.
Learners Rights, Responsibilities and Support including Complaints
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number that creates an online record of your training and qualifications attained in Australia.
If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment

Hi I'm Melissa, Director and Trainer of Hand on Heart First Aid.
If you chose respond, then I can help you! I'm passionate about educating others on the importance of first aid, the difference it can make in an emergency situation and sharing my knowledge and experiences.
My background is predominantly in the critical care field specialising in Accident & Emergency. There's not much I haven't seen in my many years of nursing. My trainers and I actively work in emergency today to ensure we bring the most current information to your courses. We are all very familiar with emergency medical situations.
In an emergency, your first response is to remain calm, assess the situation, respond, treat as required within your capability, and give comfort until the Emergency Medical Team arrive.
