This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
Provide First Aid
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
plus some of the common and life threatening medical, trauma and environmental emergencies
This course will allow you to develope skills and knowledge and most importantly, confidence , to provide first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury. You will develope skills to preserve life, prevent worsening and promote recovery. Such skills as CPR, applying eater to burns, assisting someone choking and so much more.

Pre-requisites
There is no prior learning required to attend this course
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
60 minute face to face assessment adhering to NSW Health guidelines
120 minutes for more than 5 students
The online learning component is self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to
perform 2 minutes
of uninterrupted CPR on an adult on the floor and an infant
