Provide Basic
Emergency
Life Support
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
plus some of the common and life threatening medical, trauma and environmental emergencies
In this course you will develop skills to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery. It includes initial intervention techniques such as performing CPR, as well as the first aid treatment of other conditions, such as autoinjector, or asthma medication, or assisting someone choking, or life threatening bleeding.

Hand On Heart First Aid Training Pty Ltd
Pre-requisites
There is no prior learning required to attend this course
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
35 minute face to face assessment adhering to NSW Health restrictions
70 minutes for more than 5 students
The online learning component is 4 hours of self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to
perform 2 minutes
of uninterrupted CPR on an adult on the floor and an infant

3 hours face-to-face training approx
On completion
Participants will receive
Certificate HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This training requires renewal every 12 months
and
HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
This training requires renewal every 36 months
Payment Terms
Payment for individuals is upfront
Groups of 4 or more, or Corporate bookings are by agreement with Hand on Heart First Aid Pty Ltd
