Anaphylaxis
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
First Aid management of Anaphylaxis
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
This course is designed for individuals who are required to provide first aid to a person experiencing asthma and/ or anaphylaxis until medical assistance arrives. The course includes the development and implementation of individual management plans.

Hand On Heart First Aid Training Pty Ltd
Pre-requisites
It is recommended that entrants have current competency in CPR.
Participants must have the physical fitness to meet the demands of the practical demonstrations.
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
15 minute face to face assessment adhering to NSW Health Guidelines
45 minutes for more than 5 students
The online learning component consists of self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.

Participants are required to
demonstrate administration of an Epi-pen

Students with previous experience
2.0 hours face-to-face training
On completion
Participants will receive

It is recommended this training be renewed every 36 months
