This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
common and life threatening medical, trauma and environmental emergencies with advanced skills in airway management, management of spinal injuries and casualty
This course will develop skills and knowledge and most importantly the confidence to coordinate and manage the response, and provide advanced first aid in a challenging environment and multiple casualties in order to preserve life.

Pre-requisites
There is no prior learning required to attend this course
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
480 minute face to face assessment adhering to NSW Health guidelines
The online learning component consists of self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to
perform 2 minutes
of uninterrupted CPR on an adult on the floor

Certificate HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This training requires renewal every 12 months

This training requires renewal every 36 months
Payment Terms
Payment for individuals is upfront
