22556VIC Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
Management of Asthma & Anaphylaxis
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
This course is designed for individuals who are required to provide first aid to a person experiencing asthma and/or anaphylaxis until medical assistance arrives. The course includes the development and implementation of individual management plans.

Hand On Heart First Aid Training Pty Ltd
Pre-requisites
It is recommended that entrants have current competency in CPR.
Participants must have the physical fitness to meet the demands of the practical demonstrations.
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
30 minute face to face assessment adhering to NSW Health Guidelines
60 minutes for more than 5 students
The online learning component consists of self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to
demonstrate administration of an Epi-pen and
Asthma medication treatment

Participants will receive
Certificate 22578VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
and
22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks & Emergencies in the Workplace
It is recommended this training be renewed every 36 months

Payment for individuals is upfront
