This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform
Conduct Manual Tasks Safely
in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines,
participants will develope the skills, knowledge and confidence required to recognise potentially hazardous manual handling tasks and the sources of risks and risk factors. Prepare and apply controls to complete these tasks using manual handing techniques which support safe work practice.

Pre-requisites
There is no prior learning required to attend this course
Online delivery - self paced learning with face to face assessment
40 minute face to face assessment
The online learning component is 4 hours of self paced learning to be completed prior to attending the face to face course however should take no longer than 6 months from date of initial enrolment.
Course Requirements
Participants must have the physical capacity to use appropriate equipment, posture and handling techniques to conduct a manual move and/or lift.

This training requires renewal every 12 months
