Big Hands for Little Hearts
A workshop for parents and carers of kids
Are you, or soon going to be, a parent, grandparent or carer of a baby or child?
Do you want to learn the skills that every parent should know to be able to act when you’re child needs you the most but don’t want to sit through a full first aid course?
Big Hands for Little Hearts is a 3 hr interactive workshop that covers the most common and most serious injuries and illnesses you may be faced with as a parent or carer of a child.
What we cover: - CPR (Adult, child and infant)
- Respiratory illnesses (including asthma)
- and much more….
Venue: We’ll come to you! Your home, a friend’s house, or a community hall, it doesn’t matter. All we need is floor space for our interactive learning and access to power and amenities
Cost: $75 per person (Discounts offered for groups of 10 or more)
NB: We require a minimum of 4 people to run a course

Workshop Information: The content for this workshop has been collaborated by extracting the child relevant content from the nationally recognised course, HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, and The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network fact sheets. To this date, there is no nationally recognised course that exists for this particular content, so participation in this workshop will not be accepted by any workplace as formal training.
